Founded in the spring of 2020, North House is an architectural practice backed by the 15+ years of prior experience in the building industry brought by owner and founder Luke Ryan who spent that time as a carpenter, contractor and designer working in domestic and commercial environments. From restoring historic downtown buildings to production framing to turn-key custom homes, Luke’s background in the field brings unprecedented value to the planning phase of construction. At North House we understand that a high standard for plan development and clearly communicating a building’s structure, function and aesthetic are key to a successful project from start to finish. With this in mind, our mission is to serve clients with an attentive ear and skillful design, expanding the possible within scope and budget.
